The Rowan Lofts is in the “Old Bank District,” of Historic Core. It is surrounded by the Jewelry District, Fashion District, Gallery Row, The Toy District, and the downtown civic center.

It is walking distance to a plethora of eclectic restaurants galleries and shops. Some of the nearby restaurants include the Gorbals, and Pete’s Bar and Grill.

Like many of the other lofts surround historic core, it was once a commerical building in the early 1900′s. It was built by a legendary real estate mogul named Robert Rowan.  It has now been converted to residential lofts for people looking to live in the new bustling downtown district.

One nice feature of the interior is the amount of light that comes into the lofts. This occurs because of the unusually high number of windows to square footage.
